Maria Stella Leisure estate project in the next couple of months on receipt of fullapproval...

Pazardjik City was founded in 1485 on the left bank of the river Maritsa. Because of its strategic position the town continued to expand and gain in regional importance.

After it was burnt by the Turks during the war of liberation, the town was rebuilt and expanded to the right banks of the river.

Pazardjik regained its former importance and became a leading industrial and administrative centre. Since 1999 Pazardjik became an administrative division of Bulgaria.

Places of interest in Pazardjik are the clock tower with its coffee shop and garden on the first floor and the Holy Virgin Cathedral church of “St. Bogoroditsa”.
